Message from NJESD Superintendent Thoming

Dear New Jerusalem and Delta Charter Schools parents –

Yesterday our administrative team was urged by the San Joaquin County Office of Education’s Comprehensive Health Programs staff to notify our parents via mailers and other media regarding the Ebola outbreak. While we were prudent and responded accordingly and immediately to SJCOE’s recommendation, now the San Joaquin County Office of Education’s Comprehensive Health Programs staff is asking that we hold off in “disseminating the letters on Ebola.”

On behalf of the NJESD team, we apologize for the confusion created by SJCOE and will forward any further updates we receive.

-- David Thoming, Superintendent
New Jerusalem Elementary School District
