NJESD Spelling Bee Finalists Named!

This is the image for the news article titled NJESD Spelling Bee Finalists Named! New Jerusalem Elementary School District superintendent David Thoming announced today that his district will move three students forward to the annual San Joaquin County Spelling Bee finals. 

Delta Bridges Charter School's Lorenzo Menor (5th grade) and Elijah Bailey (7th grade) will join New Jerusalem Elementary's Rylee Williamson (7th grade) next week in Stockton for the finals. 

Monday's 4 p.m. private written test event will be an elimination round for students in grades 4-6. Wednesday, December 6, will feature the final competition for grades 4-6 and grades 7-9 at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. 

Two students in grades 7-9 division will advance to the California State Junior High Spelling Bee, hosted by the Marin County Office of Education on May 5, 2018. 

Delta Bridges Charter School, located in North Stockton, and New Jerusalem Elementary, located in rural south San Joaquin County, are two of the district's 14 schools.
