Delta Charter Elementary, a part of Delta Charter School, is a site-based TK-8th grade program that integrates Dynamic Visual Learning (DVL) into its classrooms. In the TK-5th grade program, the DVL offers teaching techniques to improve the students’ visual perception functions in the brain, improving visual thinking skills, and applying their visual abilities to academics as well as other areas of their lives.
As our students move into grades 6-8, we prepare them for high school by offering a rotational schedule where students have different teachers for English, mathematics, and science. This school year, students in grades 6-8 will also have the opportunity to choose from electives such as art, coding, competitive P.E., speech and debate, music ensemble, band, drama, and guitar.
In addition, Delta Charter Elementary offers a wide variety of extra-curricular and enrichment activities for its students, including Artist-in-Residence, field trips, Science Camp (grade 6), band (grades 5-8), and youth sports (grades 5-8).
At Delta Charter School, we recognize the value of each student and strive to inspire students to learn and grow to reach their full potential.
