Delta Bridges

Greetings Delta Bridges Families,

Delta Bridges Charter School is excited to announce that our Kindergarten through eighth grade students are all now able to be on campus.   San Joaquin County has remained in the “red” tier for the past three weeks which allows us to reopen our school.

We understand that many of you are not comfortable sending your children back on campus at this time and we will continue to provide Distance Learning as an option.  For those of you returning we will be having school Monday-Thursday and school will begin at 8:30 a.m.  Students will report directly to their classroom due to COVID restrictions.  The gates will open at 8:15 a.m. and will remain open until 8:30 a.m.  We will have staff at the gates to escort the children to the classroom.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow parents/guardians to walk students to their classrooms.  As a parent of young children myself, I understand that this is not ideal and many of you want to help get your child settled in the classroom on the 1st day of school.  Please know that we will do everything we can to make your child’s 1st day a positive experience.

Our day will end at 12:15 for students in grade K-3 and 12:30 pm for students in grades 4-8. If you have students in multiple grades please be advised that older siblings (grades four-eight) will be included in dismissal for the K-3 students at 12:15.   Students on Distance Learning can continue to pick up a grab and go lunch/breakfast daily from 11:30 – 1:00.

Prior to returning please review the attached Safety Protocols and complete the form.  This form is required before your child will be allowed back on campus and in the classroom.

We look forward to seeing your child back on campus and we are excited to get back to some sense of normalcy.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at or (209) 830-9219.
